We had a pleasant stopover for a short break. The town was interesting with many good restaurants to choose from. The cottage was lovely, well-equipped, and clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was great, with the town just a short walk away and easy access to local attractions.
There were a few downsides to our experience. there was a very steep hill to climb to reach the cottage.

For the price we paid, Kemble Cottage provided excellent value. The room was cozy and full of character, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, with beautiful walks along the river and canal, as well as easy access to the town centre. The staff, especially Hannah the host, were incredibly helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel breakfast menu could benefit from a wider variety of options.

The double bed with a TV in the room was a nice touch. The area around the cottage was picturesque, perfect for leisurely walks. Although there was a bit of a challenge with parking, we managed to find spots in nearby roads. The bottle of fizz provided for our celebrations was a lovely touch. we would highly recommend Kemble Cottage to anyone looking for an authentic English cottage experience.
